The President of the Tunisian National Olympic Committee (CNOT) Mehrez Boussayene, was elected vice-president of the Union of Arab National Olympic Committees.

Boussayene who is also 1st vice President of the International Committee of Meditterranean Games,  was elected following the works of the Union’s General Assembly, held in Riyadh, with the participation of heads and representatives of Arab National Committees.

During this Assembly the Emir Abdelaziz Ben Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sports and President of the Saudi Olympic Committee, was appointed President of the Union.
