The General Assembly of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Olympic Committee has elected a new three-member Presidency and Executive Board with 13 members.

For the next 16 months the Committee will be chaired by Marijan Kvesic, a former football player of Velež Mostar. The two vice presidents are Milanko Mučibabić and Izet Rađo.

The three officials are also members of the Executive Board, which also includes Elvedin Begic, president of the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Nihad Selimovic, Mirsad Catic, Slobodan Grahovac, Edin Krupalija, Ivan Brkic, Kornelija Leko, Goran Bosnjak, Branislav Crnogorac and Nada Kujundzic.

In the past four years, the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina has successfully implemented 117 sports, educational and infrastructure projects and participated in ten multi-sport competitions with 177 athletes who won seven medals.

In the same period, the Committee provided scholarships to 35 top athletes and supported the work of professional sports federations in the country through the implementation of numerous projects.

The ICMG President Amar Addadi and the Secretary General Iakovos Filippousis congratulated the new President and the members of the Executive Board and wished them every success in their new duties.
