The Chef de Mission Seminar for the next Mediterranean Βeach Games was held today, 8^th of June,  in Heraklion, Crete.

The representatives of the 26 National Olympic Committees that are members of the International Committee of the Mediterranean Games were informed about all the important issues concerning the Games.

The “Heraklion 2023” Organizing Committee announced the organization in July of of a big tournament with sports that are included in the program of the Mediterranean Beach Games and it will be the test event of the Games that will be held at September 9-16.

During the Seminar, the draw of the Beach Soccer and Beach Handball tournaments took place.

In Men’s Beach Soccer, Greece, Spain, Morocco and France have been drawn in Group A. In the second Group are Portugal, Italy, Egypt and Libya.

In Men’s Beach Handball, Croatia, Italy, Cyprus and Kosovo will compete in the first group and Greece, Morocco, Tunisia and Spain in the second group.

In Women’s Beach Handball, Group A will feature Greece, Italy and Spain and in the Group B are Portugal, Τunisia, Cyprus and Croatia.
