The 26^th of August was an important day for the city of Taranto.  The match Italia-Kosovo has been the right occasion to celebrate the big return of football in the newly renovated Erasmo Iacovone Stadium after 612 days of absence.

An unforgettable night for obvious reasons. The roar of the crowds of Taranto saluted the first, historical goal of the Italian Gioele Giammattei in the new stadium and the qualification of Italy in the semifinals with 3-0. But the trail of enthusiasm is destined to continue in the future as well, because Taranto has now an international-level stadium.
