The House of French Sports hosted the creation of the Olympic Club of France, a coordination of national representatives in Olympic culture. Respecting and supporting the development of each structure, the Olympic Club of France will make it possible to define a common orientation and to consider joint actions aimed at disseminating and promoting Olympism in all its dimensions, and thus contributing to its societal ambition.

On the initiative of the French National Olympic and Sports Committee and its president, Brigitte Henriques, the French National Olympic Academy, represented by its president, Arnaud Richard, and its general secretary, Valérie Terrien-Conques, the French Association of Olympic and Sports Collectors, represented by its President, Stéphane Hatot, the French Committee Pierre de Coubertin, represented by its President, André Leclercq, and the Alice Milliat Foundation, represented by its President, Aurélie Bresson, and its Secretary General, Eric Florand, have founded the first Olympic Club of France.

In the approach of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, it seemed legitimate to bring together within a common space, exchange, solidarity and coordination, the stakeholders of Olympism in France. In fact, “the legacy of the Games must also be that of the dissemination of Olympic culture and values”, declared Brigitte Henriques, president of the CNOSF. The Olympic Club of France first of all will place its action in the perspective of the celebration of Paris 2024 and its legacy.
