The Sprint Triathlon Mediterranean Championships held in parallel with the European Cup and attended by 90 high-level athletes took place with great success in Sines, Portugal.
In men, the Spanish Genis Grau won the first place with a time of 55:07. Very close to him, in the second place, Anthony Pujades from France with 55:11 while third was also the French Paul Georgenthum with 55:19.
In women, the French Emmie Charayron dominated the race and finished first with 1:02:01. The second was the Spanish Xisca Tous with 1:02:21 and the third place on the podium was taken by Gabriela Ribeiro from Portugal with 1:02:29.
