The 2023 Olympic Day was celebrated in the auditorium of the Portuguese Olympic Committee (COP) with the conference under the theme: “Olympic Education for a better world”.

Teresa Gaspar, member of the COP Executive Committee, opened the conference: “We thank you for sharing experiences that will certainly enrich all those present. Olympic Day has been celebrated over the last few months, with activities in various schools, and it culminates today with this celebration.”

In a morning where the Olympic spirit was present, Teresa Gaspar presented the “Profile of the student leaving compulsory schooling”, before the presentation of the virtual visit project to the COP headquarters, by Rita Nunes, director of the Department of Education and COP Olympic Memory.
