The Organizing Committee of the Mediterranean Games “Oran 2022” launched an artistic competition to choose the design of the Games medal.
Five candidates had been selected by the vote of the public and the selection of the jury. Then, the jury declared the designer Marwan Khiat as the winner and his work was chosen for the design of the medals to be awarded during the Mediterranean Games “Oran2022”.
Mr. Khiat is a young Algerian designer from Oran working for the Skoda brand in the Czech Republic.

“We would like to congratulate all of the participants in the 2022 Oran Mediterranean Games medal design competition. Your accomplishments were all outstanding! But in a competition, there is only one winner”said the President of the Organizing Committee of the Mediterranean Games and former international swimming champion, Mr. Iles Salim.
