On 3 January last, Mr Addadi ended his trip to Morocco with a visit to the new headquarters of the Moroccan National Olympic Committee, located in the heart of the Sport Complex Prince Moulay Abdellah, in Rabat. The headquarters, very well built, are in fully-equipped, modern and functional premises that will allow the Moroccan NOC to take up the various national and international sport challenges that may arise: the well-stocked library and museum, with many references to the Mediterranean Games, and the 120-person auditorium will surely be the stage of numerous exchanges and happenings. The Secretary General of the NOC, Mr. Abdellatif Idmahamma, and his collaborators, were the perfect hosts to this visit.
The President had previously visited Tangier. The city, in full rise, modern and with beautiful beaches on the Mediterranean Sea has confirmed the potential of the city to host an edition of the Mediterranean Games or of the Mediterranean Beach Games.
The visit had started in December, in Marrakech, for the Arab Championships of Artistic and Rhythmic Gymnastics: the event, which was perfectly organized, confirmed the vitality of Gymnastics in Morocco.
Mr. Addadi thanked all the persons who, at all times, gave him proof of the renowned warm Moroccan hospitality, with a special mention to Mr. and Mrs. Mustapha Zekri, who had accompanied him during his trip to Morocco.
