President Amar Addadi attended the General Assembly of the Mediterranean Gymnastics Confederation (COMEGYM) held in Cagliari, Sardinia (Italy).

Mr. Addadi expressed his great satisfaction regarding the quality of the relationship between ICMG and COMEGYM, a confederation considered as one of the most active in the Mediterranean family.

He warmly congratulated the national federations for the excellent gymnastics competition at the last Mediterranean Games in Tarragona which saw the participation of 15 countries in the Artistic Gymnastics and 11 countries in the Rhythmic. It was a competition that has significantly contributed to raising the level of the Mediterranean Games.

He also urged members of COMEGYM to participate equally and even more, in the next Mediterranean Games in Oran 2021.

The General Assembly decided that the organization of the 5th Mediterranean Championship will awarded to the city of Mersin, Turkiye, in order to celebrate the 18th Mediterranean Games which were held in the turkish city back in 2013.

At the same time the President attended in Cagliari the competition of the 4th Mediterranean Gymnastics Championships and he appreciated the high level of the performances.
