The 200m butterfly title at the European Swimming Championships held in Rome was won by Bosnian Lana Pudar. In 2’06”81, she beat the Danish Helena Rosendahl Bach (2’07”30) and the Italian Ilaria Cusinato (2’07”77).

Lana Pudar became the first athlete from her country, Bosnia & Herzegovina, to take gold medal in the European Aquatics Championships. Pudar first won a bronze in the 100m butterfly and followed with a victory in the 200 butterfly.

She took also two gold medals in the Merditerranean Games Oran 2022 in the disciplines of 100m and 200m butterfly.
