The Algerian Olympic and Sports Committee officially launched at the National Sport and Leisure Center of Tikjda (East of Bouira), the campaign to plant bushes  “Plant for Algeria”, in the presence of the Secretary General of the Ministry of Youth and sports Mr. Tiabi Slimane.

The President of the Algerian Olympic Committee, Abderrahmane Hammad and several elite athletes were also present, in this symbolic operation which involved the planting of some 100 bushes around the CNSLT. “This is the official launch of the planting campaign for this year to preserve these natural and sports sites for the benefit of our athletes,” Mr. Hammad explained.

Several young athletes took part in this initiative, including the elite athlete in Judo, Ammar Mustapha Yasser and Belkadi Amina, an African champion and national team athlete (Judo).
