A partnership agreement concerning the coverage of sporting events was signed in Rabat, between the Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication Mr. Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, the President of the National Association of Media and Publishers, , Mr. Driss Chahtane, the President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation Mr. Fouzi Lekjaa and the President of the Moroccan National Olympic Committee (CNOM) Mr. Faïçal Laraichi.

The agreement aims to develop a joint program between the mentioned parties to organize media coverage of sporting events on a national and international scale. It also aims to ensure professional monitoring of the national press during sporting events in which national delegations participate on the continental and international level.

The partnership agreement is part of Morocco’s announcement of the organization of the 2030 World Cup and the African Cup of Nations in 2025. Its main objective is to improve the national sports journalistic work.
