In a moving ceremony held at Olympic House, members of the Olympic Movement paid tribute to former IOC President Count Jacques Rogge, who passed away on 29 August 2021, at the age of 79.

President of the IOC from 2001 to 2013, Rogge touched the lives of many people during his career as an accomplished sportsman, orthopaedic surgeon and sporting leader. A collection of tributes from those who knew and worked with him can be read in a special commemorative edition of the Olympic Review.
