The National Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BIH) celebrated on 23 June the Olympic Day in collaboration with the Municipality of Teslić.

On this extraordinary day, President of the NOC of Bosnia and Herzegovina Marijan Kvesić asked to once again remember the power of sport in making a world a better place for all and, echoing the words of IOC President Thomas Bach, highlighted the importance of togetherness, solidarity and optimism.

H.E. Makoto Ito, Ambassador of Japan in BIH, also actively participated in Olympic Day, playing table tennis with young participants.

More than 150 young participants tried out different sports, including football, handball, table tennis, shooting, athletics, karate, badminton and basketball. BIH Olympians and elite athletes Hamza Alić, Kemal Mešić, Tatjana Đekanović and Mihajlo Čeprkalo joined the activities during the day and spread the message of Olympism.
