Aiming to foster the relationship between both National Olympic Committees, the President of SOPC HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-faisal Al-Saud and President of the French NOC Mr. David Lappartient at Al-Janadria Racecourses signed a Memorandum of Understanding between both entities, where the vice president of SOPC Prince Fahad Bin Jalawi Al-Saud and the Secretary General of SOPC Mr. Abdulaziz Baeshen attended the signing ceremony.

By signing this MOU, both NOCs are stepping up their efforts to strengthen their collaboration in the Olympic Movement and to share sport-related knowledge that will further their respective advancements on the administrative and technical fronts.

Given that the next Olympic and Paralympic Games will be held in Paris, this Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with its French counterpart is highly significant as it gives Team Saudi the chance to closely observe the planning of such massive sporting events at the Olympic Movement.

After the MoU was signed, Mr. Lappartient expressed his pleasure, calling it a great chance to collaborate on initiatives, advance the integration of sport into society, and strengthen ties between the two parties.

Mr. Lappartient also observed King Salman Camel Racing Festival in Riyadh from a different angle and conveyed his satisfaction with what he observed regarding the organization of this magnificent race.
