The Digital Olympic Academy of the Moroccan NOC organised a videoconference on the theme “The journey of a high-level athlete” on 13 October. Through this initiative, the NOC is making available to the sports movement an online platform for strategic thinking at the service of sport and the promotion of the Olympic values.

In this first videoconference, the speakers were:

Karim ALAMI: Former professional tennis player and consultant at Bein Sport;

Abdelkader EL MOUAZIZ: Winner of the London and New York marathon;

Ramzi BOUKHIAM: Moroccan surfer qualified for the Tokyo Olympic Games;

Olav SPAHL: Director of high level sport of the Belgian NOC;

Philipe LE JEUNE: World champion at the Equestrian Games and coach of the Moroccan national jumping team.

In addition, after the videoconferences organised with the technical management of national sports federations, the NOC has finalised new support and preparation agreements for the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.
