The final of the women Air Pistol at the Minsk European Games was a Mediterranean affair and had a lot of  twists and turns. Anna Korakaki from Greece showed from the beginning her will to be first! In the first stage (first two rows) she had the lead with 100.8! After each turn, she managed to stay in the race while the athlete with the worst performance eliminated. Experienced Zorana Arunovic (SRB) who finished the qualifier with the top performance 578/600, made her attack, and won the gold medal. Antoaneta Boneva from Bulgaria took the third place.

The two female athletes are friends and at the last year’s world championship in Changwon, Korakaki beat Arunovic in 10m Air Pistol
