The International Committee of Mediterranean Games has established a new strategic partnership with the International Testing Agency for the MBG Heraklion 2023 and MG Taranto 2026 has been achieved.

The ICMG main principle is to protect the Mediterranean Athletes, safeguard the integrity of Sport and Competitions and educate the Mediterranean youth in combating the threat of doping.

Doping controls were implemented by the ITA during the Mediterranean Beach Games in Heraklion from 9-16 of September.

Also, at Krateros Beach Sports Center the ITA’s information kiosk was there to provide the athletes with practical guidance and advice to give confidence and to fulfil all responsibilities regarding anti-doping measures.

All the participating athletes showed a great interest in all aspects of doping and anti-doping, sending strong messages and supporting the fight against doping.
