Iraqi Olympic Committee (IOK) President Raad Hammoodi with a NOC delegation met with Turkish National Olympic Committee President Prof. Uğur Erdener.

The aim of the visit was to improve the cooperation between the two Olympic Committees and the delegations discussed the organization of seminars and courses in order to develop the interaction between the athletes and coaches of the two countries and the organization of seminars where the referees of the national sports federation can get international certificates and improve themselves.

The meeting was attended by IOK Secretary General Haitam Abdulhameed, Former Iraqi Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Ahmad Ryadh, IOK Board Member Dr. Baydaa Kailan Mahmoud and the President of the Iraqi Fencing Federation, Bakhtyar Fareeq. The Secretary General of the Turkish Olympic Committee, Neşe Gündoğan, was also present.
