Τhe International Committee on Mediterranean Games honored three persons for their long and significance contribution to the Mediterranean sport.

During the General Assembly in Patras, ΙCMG awarded the title of Honorary Member to Mario Pescante (Italy) who is an IOC honorary member.

ICMG also awarded the Order of Merit to Dr. Zakia Bartagi (Tunisia), President of the ICMG Medical and Anti-doping Commission and to Tullio Paratore, President of the ICMG Cooperation and Development Commission.
