Italy claimed the most medals than any other country at the Mediterranean Beach Games “Heraklion 2023”.
The Italian team won 42 medals, including 13 gold, 16 silver and 13 bronze.
Greece came second with 33 medals, including 13 gold, 10 silver and 10 bronze, followed by Spain with 20 medals.
From the 26 participating countries, 14 won medals.
