Delegation of the Libyan Olympic Committee visited the College of Physical Education at the University of Benghazi and the Libyan International University.

The Secretary General of the Olympic Committee, Khaled Zankouli, the President of the Libyan Olympic Academy, Dr. Haddham Al-Abed and Prof. Awatef Abu Shweisha, member of the board of directors of the Libyan Olympic Committee and head of the Women’s Union, visited the College of Physical Education at the University of Benghazi, where they were received by Prof. Dr. Yahya Lamlum, Dean of the College and Prof. Dr. Abdulaziz Maddish, Vice Dean of the College.

The two sides exchanged views on ways to create a working partnership between the Olympic Committee and the College for the benefit of the Libyan sport.

The delegation of the Committee and the Academy also visited the Libyan International University, where they were received by Mr. Jamal Al-Talhi, Dean of the College of Medicine, and Mr. Ibrahim Al-Maghribi. The delegation stressed the importance of the university’s contribution to community service and cooperation with all institutions to achieve the desired development.

At the end of the visit, the visitors met with Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saad, the President of the University, who emphasized that the university is ready to provide what is possible for the success of any activities that the Olympic Committee or the Olympic Academy would like to set up.
