The French National Olympic Committee (CNOSF) and the German Olympic Committee (DOSB) entered into a new cooperation agreement aimed at further strengthening the close cooperation between the two NOCs.

The agreement was signed by NOC Presidents Thomas Weikert and David Lappartient. One hundred days before the Olympic Games Paris 2024, the focus of the collaboration is on the sporting highlight of the year and the resulting opportunities to expand Franco-German friendship and promote intercultural dialogue and peaceful coexistence, especially among young people from both countries.

Areas of cooperation also include non-Olympic sports, exchanges on refugee programmes and the possibilities of integration through sport.
