The COE headquarters was recently the venue for the second International Olympic Journalism Congress, attended by a large number of communication professionals.

Opened by COE President Alejandro Blanco, the Congress was organised by the COE, in collaboration with the National Sports Council. With coverage of the Games in Paris as the main theme, this year’s congress looked at the role of social media, META innovations, and the written press, radio and television.

There was also a presentation on communications strategy and the IOC’s Olympic Information Service.
