The ordinary General Assembly of the Algerian NOC(COA) was held on 29 May in Algiers, chaired by NOC President Abderrahmane Hammad, in the presence of 69 members, including 25 Olympic Federations.

The 2020 activity and financial reports were approved unanimously, as were the 2021 action plan and budget forecast. Two women were co-opted as full members of the General Assembly: Sakina Boutamine (athletics) and Fériel Nadhira Salhi (fencing).

Two new members were admitted as ex officio members to the General Assembly of the Algerian Olympic and Sports Committee. They are Ms. Sakina BOUTAMINE (athletics) and Ms. Fériel Nadhira SALHI (Fencing).

The admission of the two female members takes place in accordance with the principle of equality following the recommendation 11 of the Agenda 2020, which promotes gender equality.
