The Regular Assembly of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee (COK) took place in Podgorica and attended by 35 out of 51 delegates.
The President of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee, Dušan Simonović, addressed the audience: “The period from the previous Assembly until today was challenging for us as an organization, but we faced all obstacles with courage and determination. This year is pre-Olympic, and therefore, is significantly more complicated than the previous ones and more demanding, considering the numerous multi-sport competitions in which we will participate and which are ahead of us. In addition, the crowning event of the Olympic cycle awaits us next year – the Olympic Games in Paris”.
President Simonović also thanked the athletes, coaches and staff for their tireless work and dedication. “I am looking forward to a joint journey towards reaching new sporting heights and achieving top results”.
The Assembly adopted the Financial Report for 2022, which included the Independent Auditor’s Report on financial operations, as well as the Supervisory Board’s Report.
