The official mascots of the Mediterranean Beach Games Heraklion 2023 will be chosen by the public.

A boy and a girl were chosen as mascots, the Minotaur and Ariadne, representatives of the Minoan Culture that flourished in Crete from 3,500 to 1,100 BC.

The cartoonist Christos Zoidis drew on behalf of the Organizing Committee, four different versions of Ariadne and four of the Minotaur.
