The President of the Lebanese Olympic Committee Dr. Boutros Jalkh and the Secretary General Hassan Rustom returned to Lebanon after attending the 25th ANOC General Assembly, held in Crete.

President and Secretary General had several fruitful working meetings, including the one with the President of the International Olympic Committee, Dr Thomas Bach.

The officials of the Lebanese Olympic Committee asked from President Bach to continue supporting Lebanese sport and thanked him for the help to the sport teams and organizations affected by the explosion in the port of Beirut.

A meeting was also held with the ICMG Secretary General Iakovos Filippousis, who underlined the will of the International Committee of Mediterranean Games for the further development of the relationship with the Lebanese Olympic Committee. The Lebanese officials also met the European Olympic Committees President Spyros Capralos and thanked him for his proposal for General Souhail Khoury to remain as a a member of ICMG Executive Committee.
