During its meeting in Oran, the ICMG Executive Committee unanimously ratified the new structure and composition of its standing and ad hoc Commissions for the period 2022-2024.

The restructuring of the ICMG Commissions aims at upgrading the institutional role of the ICMG and of the Mediterranean Games in the Mediterranean Sports Movement, adapting to the new operating conditions of the Global Sports Movement, as well as at the continuous adherence of our Organization to management principles and standards, based on the Olympic Agenda 2020 + 5.

In this context, the Ethics Committee has been reactivated while two new Commissions, “Women in Sports” and “Communication and Marketing”, have been set up.

The Commissions have been created for the first time in close cooperation and consultation with the 26 NOCs-members of the ICMG and it is, indeed, a remarkable development that 20 National Olympic Committees are represented in them, with members and experts with a long experience and deep knowledge of Governance, Development, Education and Technical Support in organizing international multisport events.

One (1) NOC President, four (4) NOC Secretaries General, eight (8) University Professors, one (1) Sports Advisor to Head of State and sixteen (16) NOC Board Members and professional executives have been proposed and, consequently, have been appointed to the new ICMG Commissions.
