The National Council of the Olympic Committee of San Marino elected the new Executive Committee that will be in charge for the 2022-2024 Olympic cycle.

Gian Primo Giardi was re-elected as President and will lead the San Marino sports movement in the important challenges of the next three years. Christian Forcellini is confirmed as Vice President and Eros Bologna will continue as General Secretary.

The assembly then proceeded to appoint the three members of the Executive Committee among the seven candidate presidents. The outcome of the votes was confirmed by Emanuele Vannucci (golf) and the new entries of Stefano Valentino Piva (table tennis) and Marco Giancarlo Rossini (swimming).

Finally, for the two positions of ‘external’ members, Luciano Scarponi and Giuliano Tomassini were elected.

The ICMG President Davide Tizzano and Secretary General Iakovos Filippousis expressed their warmest congratulations to the President and the new Executive Committee.
