The President of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee, Dušan Simonović, officially opened the 23rd Conference of the Montenegrin Sports Academy, the “Podgorica Sports Science, Medicine & Health Forum 2025”, which took place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Podgorica.

In his opening remarks, President Simonović emphasized the importance of continuous scientific and professional engagement in the fields of sport, medicine, and health. He underlined that innovation, synergy, and collective effort were key to building bridges toward the future. He also stressed the irreplaceable role of sport not only in developing physical abilities, but also in promoting health, strengthening social cohesion, and fostering international cooperation.

The two-day conference brought together leading experts from Montenegro and abroad. Through keynote lectures, panel discussions, and research presentations, participants exchanged knowledge and experiences in sports science, medicine, and health, with a strong focus on innovative practices, contemporary challenges, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
