One month before the opening of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the Hellenic Olympic Committee organized the official photo shoot for Team Hellas at its headquarters.

Most of the athletes who have qualified for the Olympic Games participated in the event, alongside their coaches and members of the Hellenic Olympic Committee’s Plenary. The President of the HOC, Spyros Capralos, welcomed the Olympic team and shared an inspiring message:

“I want to tell you one thing. Go to the Olympic Games, experience them, enjoy them, create great memories, because they are the highlight of every athlete’s life. To participate in the Olympics is especially significant for a Greek athlete, as the Olympics originated here. Strive to do your best and you will return happy, with or without a medal. The experience is what matters most, and you will cherish it for the rest of your life. Good luck!”

Also present at the athletes’ Photo Shoot event were the Greek Olympic Team Chef de Mission for Paris 2024, Petros Synadinos, the ICMG Secretary General Iakovos Filippousis in his capacity as the Deputy Chef de Mission, and Olympic Attache Michalis Fysentzidis, who gave their wishes for good luck.

Athletes from various disciplines, including swimming, water polo, athletics, shooting, rowing, sailing, horse riding, fencing, and table tennis, took part in the photo session.
