A great event was held in Sarajevo on the occasion of the 30th Anniversary of the admission of the NOC of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the International Olympic Family. The ceremony gathered the leaders of the European Olympic Committees, NOCs from the region, a large number of athletes and sports workers, as well as representatives of the public and political life in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

President of the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina, academician prof. dr. Izet Rađo, addressed the audience, recalling the three-decade long journey. On the occasion he announced that the NOC of Bosnia and Herzegovina is committed to work on developing the idea of candidacy of Sarajevo for one of the future editions of Winter Youth Olympic Games.

Guests had the opportunity to watch a short film about the journey of the NOC of Bosnia and Herzegovina, from its very beginnings until today.
