The Mediterranean family reunited for the first time after the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic which hit the world and caused a lot of serious consequences for sports.

The President of the International Committee of the Mediterranean Games, Amar Addadi, the Executive Committee and the Presidents of the Commissions met by teleconference which lasted almost two hours.

The situation in the world and in Mediterranean sports was assessed in relation to the development of the fight against the virus. Subjects such as the Mediterranean Games in Oran, the Mediterranean Beach Games, the annual calendar of meetings  and the meetings of the Executive Committee and the Commissions of the International Committee of the Mediterranean Games, were also discussed.

There was a constructive exchange of views, with useful conclusions for the next Mediterranean Games. It was agreed that the next meeting of the Executive Committee would be held again, by teleconference, on June 3.
