On the World Environment Day on June 05, 2019, the Algerian Olympic and Sports Committee (AOC) is participated in the campaign of the fight against plastic waste in line with the program of the International Olympic Committee which is celebrating its first year of association with the #CleanSeas campaign launched by UN environment on the occasion of which it called the Olympic movement to join its efforts.

On this occasion, the AOC joins this global campaign and on this day, the program of the Environmental Commission which includes several actions has been disclosed and which is articulated on the following axes:

• Day “Sport and marine environment” on 06 July 2019
• Day “Sport and environment”, the month of November
• Reforestation project in Tamanrasset at the Olympafrica Center, December
