The programme of the Mediterranean Games Taranto 2026 includes five team sports: football, volleyball, basket 3×3 and handball and waterpolo with only a men tournament.

These sports are going to be held in four different provinces of Puglia. The stadiums for the football games are in Taranto, Brindisi, Francavilla Fontana and Lecce.

Final games are both scheduled in Iacovone Stadium. The basket 3×3 will be played in Peripato Gardens. Waterpolo will follow the swimming competitions in Torre d’Ayala Stadium. The volleyball tournaments will be played in the three biggest cities: Taranto (Palamazzola), Brindisi (PalaPentassuglia) and Lecce (PalaVentura).

The handball tournament is going to take place in Conversano and Fasano.
