Spain and Greece at the top of the Mediterranean Table Tennis Championship U15

Sixteen countries were participated in the Mediterranean Table Tennis Championship under 15, organized by the Mediterranean Table Tennis Association in Lignano Sabbiadoro, Italy, with the collaboration of the Italian Table Tennis Association.

In the last day of the Championship, Greece’s Malamatenia Papadimitriou and Spain’s Miguel Angel Pantoia won the singles titles.

In the final match of the girls Papadimitriou beat Italy’s Miriam Benedetta Carnovale in four games (11-3, 11-6, 8-11, 11-5). In the boys’ tournament Miguel Angel Pantoia defeat Tunisia’s Khalil Sta on five games  (11-5, 12-10, 6-11, 7-11, 11-3).

In the teams’ tournament, Spain took the first place, Tunisia and Greece were followed.
