President Davide Tizzano and Secretary General Iakovos Filippousis represented ICMG in the Gala for the 10th anniversary of the Kosovo Olympic Committee recognition by the International Olympic Committee.

The Kosovo Olympic Committee celebrated its 10th anniversary organising a grand Gala Event and bringing together esteemed figures from the global Olympic family, including IOC President Thomas Bach, European Olympic Committees (EOC) President Spyros Capralos, and leaders of International Federations and National Olympic Committees.

ICMG President Davide Tizzano and Secretary General Iakovos Filippousis, who were officially invited to the Gala, offered commemorative gifts to the NOC of Kosovo.

In the Gala, KOΚ Secretary General Besim Aliti presented the ICMG President with a portrait featuring him and a special edition, titled “From Rio 2016 to Paris 2024”.

During the event, ICMG President and Secretary General had fruitful discussions with the Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti, the Minister of Youth, Culture and Sports Hairula Ceku and the President of the Kosovo Olympic Committee Ismet Krasniqi regarding the forthcoming Mediterranean Games that Prishtina is going to organize in 2030.

Last year, in Heraklion, the Kosovo NOC won the candidacy to organize Prishtina 2030, Mediterranean Games, which is another historic achievement for the Kosovo sport movement.
