On March 29th in Rome, the Technical Center of the Italian Bocce Federation (Fédération Italienne de Boules – FIB) celebrated 10 years of existence with the inauguration of a new building. On this occasion, President Amar Addadi was honored with the “Premio Italia 2014”, the highest distinction of the FIB.
While thanking President Romolo Rizzoli and the Italian Bocce Family for this great honor, the ICMG President expressed his satisfaction for the quality of participation in Bocce in the Mediterranean Games as regards both the number of athletes and the level of performance which keeps rising. During his visit to the Technical Centre, President Addadi was pleasantly suprised by all the facilities provided in this infrastructure, a unique achievement worldwide, almost exclusively reserved for the 3 disciplines of Bocce. He also expressed his certainty that this Technical Centre will have a prosperous future and a great appeal to all the Mediterranean countries contributing to the promotion and development of Bocce.
