The Minister of Youth and Sports of Algeria, Raouf Salim Bernaoui proceeded at Oran, in the official installation of the former Algerian swimmer Salim Iles, as director general of the Mediterranean Games that will be hosted in the city of Oran in 2021 .

The installation ceremony took place at the headquarters of the Organizing Committee of this international sports event, located on the waterfront of the city of Oran, in the presence of sports personalities as well as local authorities.

The minister said that the appointment of Salim Iles to manage the Organizing Committee is a sign of recognition, trust and merit of young sports skills.

At the same time, the Minister proceeded to the installation of the former Algerian handball player Z’hour Ghidouche, as director of the general administration of the event while Yacine Aarab was installed at the head of the sports committee.

Raouf Salim Bernaoui and Salim Iles travelled to Patras with the delegation of “Oran 2021” for the presentation at the ICMG General Assembly of the Mediterranean Games “Oran 2021”.

The presentation was excellent and received quite positive comments.
