The National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Monaco commemorated former EOC President Janez Kocijančič at their annual General Assembly on 8 July 2020.

NOC of Monaco President H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco and Secretary General HE Ms Yvette Lambin-Berti honoured Kocijančič, who passed away on 1 June 2020, for his great contribution to the Olympic Movement of Europe.

“We are deeply saddened by the passing away of the EOC President,” said HE Ms Yvette Lambin-Berti. “We wanted to pay tribute to his dedication and commitment to the Olympic values.”
