Τhe new infrastructures in view of the 19th edition of the Mediterranean Games in Oran in Algeria has already cost 800 million dollars, said the Minister of Youth and Sports Salim Raouf Bernaoui.

Speaking during a press briefing, the Minister recalled the great efforts made by the Algerian State to honor its commitment regarding the organization of the Games. “We have spend until now more than 800 million USD for the sports infrastructure, hotels and all the other basic amenities such as airport and roads to host in the best way in Algeria, the Mediterranean Games of  2021” said Bernaoui.

Bernaoui also noticed “the feeling of satisfaction which the ICMG Executive Committee showed, as far as the preparations of the city of Oran to host the Mediterranean Games of 2021”.
