On October 21^st the Joint Meeting of the ICMG Executive Committee with the OCMG “Mersin 2013” was held in Mersin, Turkiye. During the meeting the OCMG announced the replacement of the General Coordinator and of the three Deputies as well. The new General Coordinator, Mr. Bekir Korkmaz, shall undertake his duties on November 1, 2012. 

The resigned General Coordinator, Mr. Aksoy, said that due to personal reasons he had to resign but reassured the ICMG that the whole project and the process of the works related to the organization of the Mediterranean Games 2013 will continue with the same pace and with no delay. 

President Addadi warmly thanked Mr. Aksoy for their close cooperation and congratulated him for his efficient work up to that moment.
