The Olympic Committee of Slovenia has a new president. At the Electoral Assembly, the delegates elected the long-time president of the Slovenian Handball Federation, Franjo Bobinac. The new President succeeded Dr. Janez Kocijančič and Bogdan Gabrovec.

The Electoral Assembly consists of 117 delegates who are representatives of various sports federations. Mr Bobinac was born in Celje and first served as the president of the handball club Gorenje Velenje. Between 2008 and 2022 he was the president of the National Federation.

His Vice Presidents are:

  2. Metod Ropret (top sport)
  3. Miran Kos (sports for all)
  4. Katja Koren Miklavec (athletes and Olympic values)
