The compliance of the ICMG with the new European Regulation on personal data (GDPR) is expected to be completed next week. However, the ICMG is already legally enforceable since the two most important stages, the “Data Flow Map” and the “Gap Analysis” have already been completed and submitted.

Given the particularity of the operation of the ICMG in 3 continents, the implementation of the project was undertaken by a company based in Athens, specialized in the implementation of the regulation with international standards.

The ICMG is going to apply the regulation to all its activities: secretariat, members, website, election procedures, medical and anti-doping commission, accreditation as well as during the Games.
