The President of the Algerian Olympic and Sports Committee and President of the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa, Mr. Mustapha Berraf,, had a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in Algiers, Mrs. Clara Margarita Pulido Escandell at COA headquarters.

The discussions focused on Olympic and sport cooperation between the two sides on issues regarding the two Olympic Committees and the ways to develop bilateral relations.

Following the hard work done by the Cuban coach on the national volleyball team of Algeria and one year before the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, the Algerian Olympic and Sports Movement expressed the need for Cuban expertise in the field of sport, through the cooperation between the National Olympic Committees.
