The Algerian rowing champion, Amina Rouba, was elected in the African Athletes’ Commission (Zone 1), on the occasion of the African Athletes’ Forum of the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ANOCA). The members of the African Commission (AC) are elected for a four-year term.

“I am very happy to have been elected as a member of the African Athletes’ Commission, a source of pride for me as an athlete and for my country Algeria. I will dedicate this 4-year mandate to defend the interest of Algerian athletes and try to obtain scholarships for their preparation for the next African and international events,” told Amina Rouba.
