The President of the Olympic Committee of Montenegro, Dušan Simonović, will continue his presidency for the next four years, as decided by the General Assembly of all sports federations in the country.
Mr. Simonovic, who was the only candidate, was unanimously elected by the 12 national sports federations.
Mr. Dušan Simonović said he was impressed by the unanimous decision of the sports federations and noticed that he could not have achieved it without the support of the Executive Committee and the International Olympic Committee.
The President of the Olympic Committee of Montenegro underlined that his country has never been absent from major competitions and the Olympic Committee in collaboration with the sports federations, will continue to provide scholarships to elite athletes, so that they continue their preparation without obstacles.
The ICMG President Amar Addadi and the Secretary General Iakovos Filippousis sent a congratulations letter to the new President Dušan Simonović.
