The International Olympic Committee (IOC) organized a marketing seminar in France from 24 to 26 September 2019 in the premises of the French Νational Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF).
This seminar brought together representatives of 100 Olympic Committees which they need support in their marketing strategy.
From lecture to lecture and small group discussions, the days were to buzy for the delegates! After a welcome by Denis Masseglia, President of the CNOSF, this seminar was an opportunity to present the Olympic Festival (event organized by a country during the Olympics to make them live on its territory), the Paris 2024 project, the model of broadcast the Olympic Games from the Discovery Channel or share interesting and duplicable initiatives like the LottoAfrica set up in Namibia to contribute to the financial support of sport in the country.
This seminar was also an opportunity to provide keys to understanding complex and topical issues of Olympic marketing, such as the application of Rule 40 at the Tokyo Olympics. The CNOSF has supported the logistics of this event and welcomed the delegates from around the world.
